gold in my dime box

[fistfulladirt]

Well, sort of. Found 1 gold plated 86d and 1 chrome plated '47, really sharp.
Also nabbed a '40 merc, 47d, 52d,54, 63d, 64, and 5 ea 64d. I started searching some dimes around May and need 16 of 50 to fill the silver year Roosevelt book.
Didn't do so well this week, averaging 1 silver per box, all July '08 boxes. Hoped to cash in like last week's 6 Barber/7 merc score, but no uh-uh.

Perhaps not so good for the whole week, but pretty darn good for that one box anyway? Grats!

Haven't seen chrome or silver dimes myself yet... only halves in both forms. Would be a neat little find I am sure.

Did a dime box myself yesterday, but didn't nab a single silver waffer.

Yeah, somewhat of a pain dumping the remains, altho the CU lets me bag em up, no counting ever, and so far so good. AMC
