The glow of Gold!!! Wow!!

:icon_scratch: Not sure what to make of this. What is the story of where it was found?

Very long story, here in Tanzania there are hundreds of Gold miners and Gold mines (abandoned and active) since the colonial period. As you can see there are very little or no trade marks on the gold bars meaning they had been stalked for years.

Need I say more!!:laughing7:

What is the size, weight, and purity of your "gold"?

Mwanyu, having spent a few years traveling throughout Africa I have come to learn a few things. Yes, there is a lot of gold throughout Africa and it is being found by a whole new generation of folks with metal detectors - I believe I read somewhere that Africa is Minelabs fastest growing market. I have also found that the African governments are very interested in the gold trade and they most definitely interested in the trade of “other site finds”. Also, I think that unless you have a way for your buyers to independently test your gold on their own that you will find it challengingly to find TNet buyers. I assume that you likely are not going to ship the gold to potential TNet buyers to do their own testing prior to them sending you the purchase price - I am going to go out on a limb and say there likely are not of TNet readers rolling through Tanzania on a regular basis - though I could be wrong.

Good luck with your hunts. Walt

Bro,

I read you very well and thank you for getting here, we could brainstorm something. The true fact is that this kind of business is mostly operated by government officials and their selected group of truants. The locals have to find their own market to sell their findings which is somehow difficult without passing through the government in order to get documentation(ownership license, business license and pay Tax and take advantage of the locals. You understand what i mean, "government interference".

There is also Africa Minerals and Geosciances Center where all minerals are tested on purity, weight and so on so as the report can help one get to the market for business (As the Gold market now is operating in every state in Tanzania), this process is somehow not friend and not comfortable for most miners and treasure hunters, who would rather want the buyer to test and buy in a private environment (Independent buyers as you said) provided they pay the Government Tax.
I believe if one has a much interest, probably he/she could use a representative to follow up with all the necessary processes until the business is done. Though it is now very difficult until the Corona virus pandemic is over.
you are very right !!:icon_thumright:

Love the look of sweet Gold! :occasion14:

It's beautiful! Did you find it? Mine it? Borrow it?
