This is what I emailed Him, I also attached What I wrote to, and received Back from Senator Simpson, Also My original NOI for last year and their Correspondence, So maybe we will see an additional article.

I wanted to give you my take on the article that you wrote and I want to let you know that a follow up could be done on the actual Environmental studies that were done to prove the EPA's case and how it may or may not have correlated to the states fish and wildlife management program, which was none. They just used our tax dollars to RAM this unfounded restriction set down our throats. My main point of interest on this is that NONE of the EPA's findings are backed by actual SCIENTIFIC fact. It is all enviro theory taught in the California colleges for all those lazy hippies' kids. I will continue to follow state law as the our great state has monitored and allowed for longer than I can remember and because it is good for our state I will not break the rules set forth by our state. However the EPA is another story. This is a body of people or and agency that does not live here and yet thinks that it has the authority to tell us how to manage our lands and commerce. Their take on dredging conflicts with my college education and since all they require is a NOTICE OF INTENT, or NOI, I am attaching what I sent them last year and this year I plan on sending them a five year plan. My five year plan is simple and is as follows.

Hello EPA, I am filing my NOI for the next five years, Since you require that this be done here it is. I am a free and independent resident of the Great State of Idaho which, in it's perpetual Sovereignty, has acknowledged that we enjoy our mining activities. We enjoy the fact that Idaho has looked at the environment and determined that we are doing no damage to the fish population or to the environment and dredgers actually remove lead shot and mercury from the environment and we stir up the river bottoms at unfortunately only .01 percent of the annual spring runoffs or as storms do, which releases underwater bugs and food sources for the fish to feed on. More dredgers mean more fish food. Idaho has determined the times of the year that fish breed and lay eggs also where these activities happen in our rivers and we do not dredge or highbank in these areas at these times on those bodies of water so that our children and our children's children can enjoy fishing and the wildlife that relies on the fish in the waters for ALL the generations to come. Since you Idiots do not understand the fish and wildlife management program in our state and its perpetual effectiveness, you have required that I file my NOI so that you can come check up on me while I perform my outdoor activities to ensure that I am following your guidelines. As a free person with a tendency to change my mind on a moments notice I am writing to let you know that I will and could dredge within The Great State of Idaho's Water departments regulations and on any open body of water whenever the mood hits me. If you do not have the resources to send out an agent to each location to await my arrival feel free to send one out to hang out with me for the next five years as this is my Notice of intent. I will go do WHATEVER I please, when I please as long as I am a free human being in the Sovereign state of IDAHO, in which we hold jurisdiction over our own activities and we do not COW TAU to the federal government and I will do these activities within the scope of the laws both Federal and State as this IS my RESPONSIBILITY as a citizen of the greatest nation in the world. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. You and everyone in your agency work for WE THE PEOPLE and I am reminding you of this fact. I do not require a response to this NOI as I will keep a copy of this stamped with the date of mailing. Good day

As a reporter more input from the people is required to overturn the thinking that the government is your daddy and get people out of the mode of just accepting that what they say is right and couldn't be wrong. Please feel free to print my letter to you but please omit my Phone number or email address. I am a member of NGPAA, and IGPA which are local clubs in the Treasure Valley.

Thank you for your time

Wow rock and sand are pollutants you've got to be kidding me, so I guess the government should be sued over the use of rock and sand for the concrete in the roads they build which are making us all sick if that's true.

It is my understanding that the U.S. Supreme Court has determined on several occasions that river rocks ,gravel , sand . are NOT pollutants. The EPA has overridden the Court? Meanwhile industries can buy, for a nominal fee, a permit to discharge real pollutants into the Snake.

Just wait till the ESA listings get going full speed.
The Sierra Nevada is about to be closed down.

The EPA follows no laws, answers to no one. It is a rogue agency

OH BOY, theres those works again! HOBBY MINER! i wish everyone would satop useing those words, RECREATIONAL and HOBBY. PLP lost cases because of these words comeing from miners own mouths!some people need to think BEFORE they open their mouths to speak!the creeping crude is spreading! will your state be the next one it stops at?

also the Oct and Nov issue of the ICMJ has articals on this very topic! people need to know the laws and have a copy of them with them while out mining/prospecting! all of these gubermint agencys have a perpencity to bully/lie about the laws at hand, and "their version" of what they think the laws say! and they "maybe, might, could" be sprinkeled with a generous portion of the green agenda! thanks to ole slick willy and ole blabering bruce babbit!these groups are going to PUSH their agenda really hard before ole whats his name gets out of office. just look at what he did to shove the obama care through and down our throats! they dont care 1 hoot about the laws or what Congress says! obama even said,"he dont care what they think! do whatever you need to go around the laws/rules!so much for "his" socilist ways!and i dont think much of the republicans ways either but what choice do we have left??

Neither the Duhmocraps or the Rethuglicans give a hoot about "the people" anymore! That is a FLAT FACT, m'man!

We live in an oligarchy today(the few rule over the many) and only powerfull special interests have the attention of Congress Critters. The only way we can break up this two party farce, is to elect third party slates, that use grass roots selection of platforms and candidates via the people.

Jesse Ventura announced he is going to run for POTUS, backed by 100 million of Howard Stearn's vast fortune as a third party!

Now, before you laugh and make scorn, consider that Jesse is not owned by any interest group, and is very much a libertarian populist, and leans toward liberty and freedom. Just google his name, and you will see a lot of stuff on his beliefs, and long career as Governor of Minnesota, pro wressler, movie actor.

As long as you keep voting D or R, nothing will ever change! MOLON LABE!

it seems everyother party has dumped on us,why not give him a try? atleast untill someone better steps up to the plate. i can see Jesse body slamming one of these socalled "representaives" of ours on the ground! THAT would make my day!

Yep i see it now in the article, the use of the word hobbyist takes away your mining rights, thats a no no.

Frustrated is as frustrated does....

Kepner and Dey complained that the environmentalists who threatened the EPA with a lawsuit now are enforcing the new rules. But DeGering said tips and complaints to the EPA come from a surprising number of sources, including other miners.

BULL $HIT just above that sentence they say , It’s all centered on enforcement of the Clean Water Act and the Idaho Conservation League’s threat to sue the EPA for not regulating miners’ discharge, Hayes said. Those threats came from meetings between the EPA and the League, Hayes said. AND Angry miners aren’t correctly thinking about the permit that the Idaho Conservation League pushed the EPA to implement here, said Justin Hayes, the league’s program director.

What a sack of krappola this is what its all come down to SUE HAPPY ENVIRONMENTAL NAZI GROUPS OVER POWERING THE GOVERNMENT AGENCYS WITH AN ENDLESS AMOUNT OF MONEY TO FIGHT THEM IN COURT AND BACKING THAT THOSE GROUPS HAVE IS TRREMENDOUS

iF JESSE RUNS HE'LL HAVE MY VOTE

By the wya GREAT LETTER Doitlaynstyle MUCH RESPECT , THANKS.
