Gold on my very first prospecting adventure

Found a gram of gold the other day drywashing on a GPAA claim in So Cal. Only spent about 3 hrs and dug a 3'x3' hole... Going back to the same spot for a few days this week and expect/hope to get more...... Not bad for my FIRST attempt.

Sounds like a great first attempt!

It took me a whole summer every weekend to get my first almost a gram!

Maybe, I should mention that was in Ohio! Yep, a few little flecks at a time!

I hope to be able to go west one day and give it a shot!
