Agreed it’s a little suspicious to me too waiting for my fresh acid test kit to show up in the mail. Came very close to throwing it out so I’m hoping it is gold and it’s a double save! Here’s another one that could be what 9K gold maybe?🤷‍♂️

Conditions vary so much from spot to spot... so how each metal is affect can be so different. If that was found where I hunt I would say all is brass. 9k here has come out stained but never pitted.

Got my gold acid test kit today, waited for the kids to go to bed. So I could test that earring it looks so good. OBN was right brass looks so good when you spit polish it.!!
