You use what you can get. Those clothes-washing tubs are true multi-use utensils in Africa, and by local wages - aren't cheap!
 

Sadly, south Sudan is an independent state now , thus those pics in the link belong to another country . The Gold rush started in the North of the Sudan and moved to the South.

Terry those washing Bowels are really reasonably priced, because they are manufactured locally or imported from China !
