I thought this was a toy ring when it popped out. When I wiped the band it shined right up. You can't see it in the photo but there's a white star that floats across the stones surface. The band reads 10k MM.

Sounded like a pull tab.

Cheers!

Nice find Ridley---That is a beauty.

Really sweet looking ring Ridley. The setting on it looks quite primitive I bet it is quite old. I have been digging so many junk signals and I do find more rings than I used to but they are still few and far between and usually junk, but you have to keep on digging because you just never know,HH...Shoot

Very nice find...I am due for a ring again soon...

Is that the clean or dirty picture you posted?

Good deal on a nice little ring. ;D

The mount on the ring looks like it could be old. Synthetic Linde Star Sapphires were not introduced until 1947. If the ring is older that that, the sapphire is natural. Could be worth more than you think.

Way to turn those pull tabs into gold!

I agree with the Professor. It looks like an old setting. It certainly is a beautiful color . WTG! :D Mosey
