Never seen one before...congrats !!

Neat looking ring.

Very cool find!

I may be wrong (often am), but I thought that hook rings like that were a vintage-to-modern thing derived from traditional Caribbean hook bracelets. They?re still made today, particularly in the US Virgin islands, for tourist sale.

Like this one (new, made to order) in 14k gold from St.John - VibeCollection via Etsy for a whopping great $468

newer ring - forgot the company but i found a silver bracelet identical in St Marten

think its supposed to be a horse shoe

Dunno much about it but it,s an ingenious design in my eyes,I like it!Congrats and that,s one I wouldn,t sell.

Casper had dug the bracelet version of your find.

A friend of mine got these made in bracelets for their wedding ring. I say that only to note the style of jewelry.

The soldering doesn’t jump out to be as being super old, but I’m not an expert.

Very cool find! Take it to a few more Gold smiths, and you will get a suitable answer.

Nice!!! Congrats!!! Keep Us posted on checking it.

Yours definitely has a better look to the craftsmanship than all the other/modern ones I've seen, anyways, Congrats!

Interesting piece, congrats! :occasion14:
