I added a pic flipped around (maybe it's upside down).

I found this at an old AFB housing site on Sunday, but I can't read the name or word/s on the ring. Can anybody translate?
Thanks for looking!

HH Mark

Asian and Indian rings are sometimes 23 or 24 kt, might be a real keeper!

It's corporate and it's upside down. Looks like the symbol for yellow pages or the phone book.

Re: Gold Ring....Need Help

It's not standard arabic. The last letter doesn't come close to matching any arabic letters. the other three are shared in a few languages. It is definitely Middle Eastern. I'm betting its a persian language. Probably Farsi. Farsi and Arabic share most of the alphabet Sanskrit is super ornate so i don't think thats it. They way that you took the picture make the letters upside down and you read it right to left. But i cant translate it. sorry.

I will see what I can come up with. Maybe we can figure this out. This is a hard one. Bunny looking symbol is hard to find.

Hey Mark, is that a mirror image pic you added? I don't think it is rotated 180 degrees like you had intended.

I agree it looks like a seal ring. Try pushing it into some wax or soap to see the reversed image.

A colleague of mine originally from Iran told me that the letters on the ring are a prayer from the Koran, called "Van Yakut". The prayer is supposed to keep you safe. Anything bad happen to you since you have had it in your possession? If not, she must be right!
