I went to a different stretch of beach today and got a 14k ring within minutes, right at the top of the slope.
It is marked 14k CZ China, which says it all :BangHead:

Later I got the other one which appears to be silver but no markings.
It was tarnished like silver, cleaned up with electrolysis, but I'm still not too proficient with the acid test to be sure. :icon_scratch:

Good luck out there.

Very nice finds. man I evny you guys over at the coasts nice weather 90% of the time. Here I sit on the couch with the weather at 20 degree outside with over 2 feet of snow on the ground. I wish spring would get here so I can get out and do some detecting.

It's usually that way, bang u find it within minutes of arriving or right when your about to go! Cz or not gold and silver always make for a good bring home! Wtg

Nice gold Fred! :hello2::hello2::hello2:

Nice finds on the rings and the I D bracelet on the other post. You're finding some good jewelry.

What a way to start the year! :occasion14:

Congrats on two beautiful finds, Fred; the ring in the second pic sure does look like silver.
