Finally some gold. Came from civil war camp that has been pounded pretty hard. Rang up as an undeniable signal at mid 40’s. As shiny out of the ground as it was cleaned up. I’m guessing 24 carat and the crown held a diamond, ruby, or pearl. Went back with a bucket and brought all the dirt home. Haven’t sifted through it yet. 🤞

It was a Garrett at pro terry. Very distinct pop from any direction.
