Probably the same place we can buy the 10” coil for the same machine, our imaginations…. I think they’re funneling everything they can manufacture to a certain geographical area…. On the bright side, I think I found the source of the motivation for the 8000's unique audio style. 😂 (click the speaker icon in the clip to enable audio).

Found one from Keene Engineering where I buy my gold mining equipment. I got lucky… no markup.
 
I found one at MR Detector in Delta CO last week. Bought it to use as a special drawing prize at my prospecting club! Very exciting!

I got mine several months ago at Serious Detecting. I'm just waiting for the 10" coil to be more widely available. I've been detecting dredge tailings lately, and that little 5" stock coil is tedious to use in larger areas.
