Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania (USA)!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Illinois for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

[Metal Detecting Stuff]

Welcome to Treasurenet!

Check to see if there are any detecting clubs in your area, it's a great place to meet new people.

Now that I think about it I recall some information that maybe related to your request. Over the years most my best finds have been within a five mile circular radius from my home, where ever it may have been at the time. Quoting Me, Myself, and I "As I have read before the best places to detect are often just outside your own doorway nearby!"

Hope this Helps!
