Got out today and the water is going down offering brand new treasures here's a few...mjm ....There's a huge maul an adze a broken Celt a couple points a couple brokes and an awesome red sandstone whetstone.It was a great day....mjm

Not combined,, each.

Those are HUGE tools and the man wielding them must have been equally huge.

Can you give a rough location please?

How much does that Maul weigh? Biggest I have ever seen I do believe. I know you know what your finds are but could it be a canoe weight?

I sent pics of this to Athur Spiess he is a Maine archeologist he says its a maul/hammer that he has seen a couple of.He says they are usually around five lbs...mjm
