Had a great day yesterday with my dad at his ole childhood homesite, where my aunt lives now. Home was built in the early 30's by my great uncle whom later was sent to war as a paratrooper. He didnt talk much about the war and most of his uniforms and medals where lost over the years. Untill now at least. Very short hunt as my dad dosn't have the endurance he used to "battling cancer atm". Got to watch my dad light up as we found some old metal cars and other relics that just flooded memories back to him, but the coolest find was my great uncles sterling silver marksman badge the only medal left at least for now. It was nice to see my dad so happy about a piece of metal in the ground and to see him distracted at least for now with what he is dealing with. We can't wait for these storms to clear out of here so we can get back out and dig up some more of my dads forgotten memories. BEST DAY DETECTING EVER!!!!! very happy son here!!!

PS for all you minelab x-terra users 99 tones and all metal is the way to go the detector tells you so much more and is alot deeper like that, at least from what I noticed.
