Went back to a field we've hunted a few times and had a pretty good day. Me and my dad totaled 3 bullets and 7 flat buttons. And my dad's had the find of the day with the buckle keeper. We spend probably half the hunt searching that field for the actual buckle and couldn't find it. Anyways, here are the pics. 10210.webp 10212.webp 10214.webp

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Nice early finds! I’ve dug lots of early 18th and 19th century relics but have to admit I haven’t heard of a buckle keeper.

Thanks dug a lot of trash for these finds today. What he called the buckle keeper are the hooks for a U.S. buckle. The 2 arrow hooks are bent out straight on this one.

Congrats on the Finds!!

Congrats! Keep looking for the rest of the buckle. Good luck!
