I took a little road trip yesterday and hunted an old park. It was raining like crazy and I wasn't dressed for it (and didn't have a plastic bag for my control housing) so I just hunted underneath the canopy of two big trees.

The first target I dug was this cool Good Luck token. As soon as I rinsed it off, I knew I'd seen an identical one posted on Tnet. These were made, I believe in the 1930's, although I've seen a reference or two that says 1920's. Either way, I like it!

I also dug (4) wheats (1936, 1937, 1941 and 1950).

This is really interesting MP! :o
I'm sure somebody will chime in with what this really is . . .
in the meantime why don't you also post it in the "What is it" forum.

Happy Hunting,
Dave

Thats a really cool token, hope you get some more info on it.

Indianhead: Thanks for the info! I had no idea...figured these good luck tokens were just a fad back then.

How did you connect this coin to the 1933 Worlds Fair?

I had seen a few of these in the past, and I was familiar with the website.

Again, nice find...I love finding things like these good luck pieces!
