Good silver in some pennies!

Last night I searched 5,000 hand rolled pennies. In them I found a Mercury dime. A decent one that I needed, the 1917D. It is worn and I sure wish it were the 1916D, but I'll take it. I'll put a picture up later.

Can't go wrong finding silver in the only non-silver coin denomination.

It's nice to find silver in cent rolls. I've done it twice - both times the silver was Canadian. One was a George VI dime and the other was a 1919 silver 5 cents. That one was a real surprise!
