Good small volume dime day (update and picture)

After getting lots of weird responses from tellers when I just ask for halves, I've started asking for halves and dimes. Seems to get a much better response so far.

I ended up with $55 in dimes yesterday from 3 different banks. $5 CWR, and $50 MWR. From those I pulled 2 Rosies (1961 and 1964) and a 1936 Merc. That's the first Mercury dime I've found CRHing so it was a pretty cool feeling. The one CWR I got had a nicely toned 1964 and a bunch of other late '60s and '70s. I think I'll go back and get more from the same bank today.

With 3 silvers out of $55 it makes up for the fact that the halves I found were all skunks.

Yeah, you should go back there and get the rest of the CWR, at least. That's a very high silver/roll ratio. I just finished two $250 boxes and got SKUNKED!

I love Mercs - I got my first 49 Mercs from the same roll and have not found one since. Not that I'm complaining!

So I went back to the two banks I did well at and got a bunch more ($100 from each) as well as $100 each from two other nearby banks.

Out of the $400 I ended up with 4 more, 3 Rosies (1959,1952,1946) and a 1942 Merc that had been turned into some sort of jewelry. Missing some of the silver value but definitely a cool find, imo.

Not quite the same ratio, and I got the rest of the CWR at the two banks that had been successful, but still pretty happy.
