Hey Everyone...

I intend to make a detailed announcement soon.... within the next 3-4 days.... BUT..... I am so sorry for the downtime. Just as the server went down, so did MY Internet.... which included my telephone and TV! I was DOWN DOWN DOWN.

Was it a case of "hacking"?

No - but it was certainly a case of an overloaded server.... and 3rd world French connectivity. It just happened to be all at once. (all within 48 hours of my Mom's death - which was just plain WEIRD)

Anyway, I intend to make a more detailed announcement in the coming days.

Thanks everyone - for your patience, your loyalty, and your great posts. Without you.... TreasureNet would not exist.

I am sorry for your loss. My mother passed away years ago and I still have times I think about calling her on the phone to talk to her. I can still hear her voice in my head and it has been fifteen years.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. That definitely puts the priorities in focus. Losing the site for a few days is not a big deal.

Thanks! Just got a detector at Christmas but looks like it'll be April before I can do much with it.

Sorry about your loss Marc. I lost my mom in Nov. last year, I still call her from time to time, just love hearing her voice. We left her voice on her answering machine, till her house sells :wink:.......NGE

TNet is not important in light of your mom...please accept my condolences. That being said, thanks for taking the time to fix the TNet issue.

Sorry to hear about your mom.

As for the forum, I noticed in the days leading up to the crash that the server was getting slower and slower.
