😢 Sorry! Some plated stuff sells. Look at completed auctions.
If it looks good, and you think it won't move on eBay, take it to a consignment shop. I consign a ton of my stuff.

Thanks. I took a magnet to it myself. That woman was crazy it is not magnetic. I bought a testing kit and it's tested for 18k. I'm gonna take it to another place.
Who did you take it to who said it was plated? I know when I very first got started I was taking things to a cash-for-gold place that was staffed by a guy who not only ripped me off but refused items as plated/fake that later tested fine and sold accordingly. He was the perfect blend of condescending and ignorant lol, I didn't go to him for very long before finding people who were both pleasant and informed to take my business to instead.
I took it to a local jeweler and then to a cash for gold. The woman was nice enough but I could see her doing the magnet test. I have a very strong magnet now and on the wood table it doesn't move. She did it on what looked to me a file cabinet.
Also, always carry a loupe with you! It will definitely help you identify items! I took a whole bunch of art to my favorite thrift store today. I bought it almost a year ago when I was a novice thinking that it was original, but I looked at them carefully with my loupe and sure enough they were prints! All the best!
