Detected a big ploughed field Sunday while dodging the rain .Hard walking but did manage to find A 1916 Canadian silver 5 cent coin I have detected this field many times and never found a single watch. I found three wrist watches lots of targets but no more coins.I don't post much as my finds seem hardly worth posting .Happy hunting all.

That's what I'm talking about when I say this site can be intimidating. People posting all these WONDERFUL, ANCIENT, BEAUTIFUL finds! EVERY - SINGLE - DAY! It makes one feel like their little, every day finds are soooo insignificant that they don't rate posting.

Ok, so yeah, if every single stinkin Lincoln was posted, it might get a bit boring. But never feel like your finds are any the less just because they're not "banner" finds. I find it extremely interesting to hear about what people "normally" find in their every day hunts. Everybody knows it's rare to find an extremely old/beautiful find every day. I just go with what is my most interesting, today, for me! Then I share the feelings.

Excellent saves!
