Hi, You did a great job on that old fan! I love them and last year at one of my dump sites, I pulled a brass fan blade out. No other parts, just the blade in nice shape.
 
Nice job, makes me want to hunt some down, love old fans.

This one took about 2 hours . Most of it is sanding - first with 220 grit then with 400 grit .The can of paint cost $4.99 and it's still half full . I got a box full of sandpaper at a moving sale a while back for $2.00 .
