Usually I find a Crotal bell every year, and was getting disappointed I didn't find one this year. Until today. Started out just finding a wheat and dead silence for a bit. Then this choppy 70's/60's signal. Low and behold a Crotal bell. Kool-Side smile from ear to ear. Back to dead air for awhile, and along side of a tree I get an 82/83. Out popped a stack of coins with a Silver half staring at me. The spill gave up 3 wheats, a 1907 Indian head, and a 1918 S Walker. The Crotal was still my favorite find of the day. Found the crushed .925 silver ring on the path heading back to the vehicle.
