Howdy folks. Been doing some research and finally got on a good patch. These were found over the course of about an hour. I wish I had a scale so I could weigh them up for you, but I still need to track one down.

All were found using the Minelab Equinox 800 with a 6 inch coil. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical the first few times I took it out prospecting, but as you can see by the smaller piece, it can nab pin-head sized gold.

Sorry for the somewhat blurry image. My phone went down the tubes earlier this week, hope to get a replacement soon.

Thanks for looking,

VERY NICE thanks for sharing. What did they rang up as. Maybe you could take a picture of them around a dime so we can estimate the size. What state ?

The smallest pieces rang up as a 0 or a 1. From there they went up to an 8 or so. I've found some bigger pieces that went up to 12 or 13 back in January. I'll try to get a dime photo once I get a working phone (hopefully tomorrow). This would be in AZ. I'm down here for work, but I'm having a blast doing my first real nugget shooting! I went out the evening after this and got 4 more pieces. This evening we got 2. Its been tough hunting after work, I usually only have about 1.5 hours to hunt after the drive and walk in. The missus is kind enough to be giving me most of the day tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a decent pile.
