Got one nice one today!

I spent the day out metal detecting with Worldtalker, Casper, and Greylock. While Casper and Greylock were digging up all the silver, I wasn't having much luck until I found this little guy sitting on the surface. I think its a Levanna Point, but I'm not an expert on these.

Nice! I have heard that type of story often on people finding points while swinging the MD. Maybe I should start back using mine more often.

Nice find. I think Levanna is correct. I always am a fan of the simple triangle points. Some times less is more. Some times more is more but in the case of triangles less is actually more, for me at least.

Thanks for the comments, I will have to post some of the other points I have found at this site. Most are Levanna, but I have found several broken stemmed pieces and some other interesting bits. Paleo points have been known to show up from time to time in mixed context, but I haven't been lucky enough to find any.

was about 20 yrds away when he called over to me that he found it - walked over to see it as found - awesome
