Got out today and might have found gold

Went to a couple spots today. I pulled this coin out and when I got home and washed it the color of gold appeared. Could it be? The date is 1957 and its a mexico coin.

I have never seen copper that looked like gold. I expected it to always look like a penny or a shinny piece of copper pipe. The pics aren't great but I tell you this coin next to my wedding band looked the same
such a nice nice dream while it lasted all of about an hour. One of these days though I will get my gold coin.

well that's just one of many more things on my list to find. But the hunt was great, the company splendid and although not gold I am still happy with the finds.

A real different mixture of copper than what is in the US penny --that is for sure.
