well, I went back to that same house/barn and didn't find allot but I did find some silver and another WW1 dog tag (2nd part of the set).
the silver was a buckle or sash type thing and a 1943P nickle.
and I did find a max factor hollywood lipstick tube.

Yes, definitely some cleaned images.

I knew it would be wise to go back.

Nice looking piece, what ever it is, is it rather thick like a buckle would be ? the hole is so perfectly square (sharp corners) I was thinking maybe a little picture frame. Just a thought though.

Nice finds . I like the silver.

:icon_thumright: Great finds !!!!!! The dogtag looks World War I !!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to see'm after their cleaned up :icon_thumleft: !!!!!

That looks like an early shoe buckle to me. We find 'em on old sites back east. Let's see the back of it, that'll help.

As you know well TTH, ANY good finds like yours are a bonus the way this vegetation is growing because of all this Spring rain in Tennessee. It's about over unless you can find some plowed ground. HH, Quindy.
