Hope you all are having a great day! We went to our favorite park today but due to the coins drying up I wanted to try a newish area. Bob dug a 1920 Merc on his first hole! The coins were few and far between though. Only got 4 but all older. Not east coast old but oh well. Got a 1912 penny that I gouged the back of and Bob got a 1916 penny too. I got a 1899 Barber dime which was awesome! I can tell by the amt. of trash that it hasn't been gone over much. Got an old knife handle I hope will clean up and other misc. junk.Hopefully will find more someday!

Great finds - well done !

Awesome! I've yet to find a Barber anything. Someday?

Very Nice!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

This is such an odd park. This is the park I posted about finding stuff in 2s. Today we got 2 pennies and 2 dimes. Despite the park obviously being used to present day, the newest coin we found today was 102 years old. So weird.

Nice finds. I like that pair of silver dimes.

Nice finds,

I love when I come home with more old coins than new.

Keep working that park. If there is high trash then there are still good items to be found.

I hunt a lot of older trashy parks. The trashier the better.

I'm sure there is going to be more from this place.

Jer

Thanks Jer! There is just SO MUCH trash. Years of entertainment!

Nice recoveries! Take your time and work hard through the trash, I'm willing to bet there's plenty more there- GL!

Great stuff! Hope you can add a seated dime to your collection soon!

Nice old coins, congrats! :occasion14:
