A customer came in the bait shop where I work and picked up a bunch of tackle/bait. He hands me a credit card, and I kindly inform him that we are cash only and that the ATM across the street is currently out of order. He runs to his car and comes back with a hand-full of change. I saw a few half dollars in there but didn't get my hopes up. As I counted out the change, I spotted two little birdies and tried to hide my excitement. As I handed him the receipt and watched him leave, I grabbed a dollar from my pocket and put it in place of these two bad boys.
