Personally I don't even think it would grade G-3. I know it's hard to come by, but I wouldn't pay more than $75 for it.

That was what I thought too, however I have seen a lot of G4's slabbed with less date showing. I think the reverse has too much wear to be G4.
 

I agree, AG-3 at best. If you can live with that grade, it's just a matter of price. For a raw coin, I wouldn't pay the asking price. It 's hard to tell from your photo but I would make double sure it's a "D" mint before making an offer of any kind.
 

I agree with the other opinions! Unless you can purchase it cheap as a filler for your' Collection, then personally I would pass on the coin. Due to the grade and lack of rims, the coin has really lost it's collectibility as a Key Date coin!

I wouldn't buy it. For investment, it would be very difficult to sell, even at $75 due to condition. A discriminating collector would pass. At best a yard sale coin.....
