Gramma's yard keeps on giving.

After the season's last mowing I hit a section of the yard and got a couple goodies.
The pendant came on a large cheap chain but pretty cool and I came across my first wheatie! It's nothing for most but it's my oldest coin after a month of detecting.

Nice finds, Nate! Grats on your first wheatie! I'm still diligently searching for my first one, and would love to pull up a necklace like you did... Made your heart skip a beat when you pulled them in, huh? :icon_thumleft:

Both nice keepers! Good photos too, thanks for posting and keep it up.

I think we finally found a buyer for my Grandmothers house down in PA. About 35 years ago my Grandfather found a diamond ring in the garden. I never searched it, but think it may be worth a drive after seeing your pics.

Let me tell ya, I pulled the plug and saw the chain dangling and followed it and kept saying "please, please, please..." and at the end was a clump i broke it apart and out popped the cross. It may not be worth anything but anything with some sort of story behind it or something that makes me wonder how this thing got here is always great for me.
