The Springfield Herald, Volume 14, Number 11, November 9, 1900 - mentions AOUW Lodge 51 in Cripple Creek, Colorado. ​

I've got a few simular items that I need to get on the wall, I just picked a little frame at goodwill that should do well. I think I like that better than a case!

It turns out this is from April 11, 1899. Victor and Cripple Creek lodges each donated 2000 for the entertainment. They had a three day celebration, the biggest to date. 600 members were in the parade, as well as Elks and other lodges. They elected the officers. It must have been quite an event!!!
