Grandfather clock identification help needed

Hi! We have this grandfather clock that my boyfriend’s cousin made while he was in junior high back in 1981. The kit used was a Heritage (501-508 movements). We are in a debate with other family members about the worth of this clock. We have tried researching this with the info we found inside the clock but no leads.

Hey Becky, You've already identified the clock correctly, it's a kit clock. Tempus Fugit is not a brand, it just means time flies. It's put on just about every kit clock.
Without seeing the movement it likely has a Hermle, Urgos, or Jauch movement. Unfortunately, there isn't a real big market for used modern/kit GF clocks, so the value is going to be very subjective. If the clock was made in '81 that means she's 40 years old. That is really old for a modern movement and I would be amazed if it is still running (this is assuming it's been running all 40 years). If it has anywhere close to 40 years of run time on it, it's in need of a rebuild or a new movement. If you have anymore questions, im glad to help.
