On your "random" coins, I think #8 is a 1960D small date Lincoln cent. I can't see the date on #1 too well. It might be a small date too. On your "silver coins" only #2 and #8 are likely to actually be silver....the rest aren't. Your Monroe Half is a commemorative issued by the U.S. mint. Everything I see so far looks to be genuine but I don't have much expertise on the ancient foreign coins.

sorry had wrong link up so i deleted, ill try to find the link again and repost

Nice collection of coins , could be some real good one's there , a coin dealer would have a better idea of their worth , good luck .. cheers Mick

#2 is a shield nickle... not silver... but man them are some sweet old Romans!!!

Yeh I had no idea what I had till I started researching more. If I am right some are from 14 to 32 AD thats crazy to me! I have no idea where he got these sadly he has passed away. The stories these coins could tell!

Very cool indeed.

Now that you mention it and I look a bit closer, I think you're correct! So that cuts it down to one actual silver coin.

The Asian coins are Chinese cash coins from the Qian Long period (1736-1795) under Emperor Gao Zong. They are very common and are worth about a dollar a piece at most.

From the "Random Silvers," only the bottom right holed coin is silver.
