Grave Robbers in the recent news?

I had a friend that was held in a federal holding facility for a month, where he met some very unsavory criminals.

One perverted weirdo was a grave robber. He broke into the above ground mausoleums, and claimed to find quite a bit of jewelry.

He told my buddy all kinds of creepy stories, the only one I can remember is that he collected the hair, along with the valuables.

Can you imagine opening up a casket, and robbing a corpse? There are some sick low-lifes out there.

.....I could not even imagine opening a casket..... It would really smell bad and make you puke.... Plus the extras you might get like all the deadly germs you might encounter..

BURKE COUNTY GEORGIA,
On May 1, Corporal Ben Payne, Corporal Michael Crawley, K-9 Storm and RFC Jeff Billips assisted Burke County Sheriff’s office with the apprehension of a fugitive felon. The felon was wanted in connection with the desecration and removal of dead persons from a cemetery. The grave sites included Confederate Civil War veterans and an infant child. The felon had eluded law enforcement for nearly two weeks when Burke County Sheriff’s investigator Sean Cochran received a tip on a possible location. The Rangers and Deputies from Burke and Richmond Counties went to the residence and took the felon and homeowner into custody. The felon attempted to flee the residence out of a back door but saw Corporal Crawley and Storm. The felon retreated into the residence and was promptly arrested despite resisting deputies.
