Lots of buttons and these are my best ones. Also recovered some 1700's coppers from this site

Looks like a King George III halfpenny with huge buttons beside it. Imagine the greatcoat with those on it! Great, British colonial era finds! The h'penny could be a counterfeit.

thanks any way to confirm if counterfeit? would kinda cool if I could I have a few dozen coppers but have no idea about the counterfeits I hear and see about

Nice finds. That octagonal piece with the flower looks like part of a cuff link from the mid 1700s or so. Just a guess. Congrats!

research suggest it's a Tudor Rose pewter button from that time period thanks
