Great Dime bag score

Every week I get the bag of dimes off of the coin machine at my Wednesday pick up bank. This week was no exception I got the bag and my 6 boxes of dimes and headed on my way. I'm carrying the dimes out to my car and I can see one silver edge in the bag. I thought "good at least I won't get skunked". So I get home and go through the boxes first. I get 8 silvers from the 6 boxes. That's nothing to right home about but its a good day so far. Then I start on the bag. The very first handfull I pull out has 2 silvers in it 64 silvers later it became the best bag I have gotten off of that machine. I figure someone brought in grandpa's collection. I always get the half bag from this bank once it fills up. I am hoping that whomever brought in the dimes also had a bunch of halves to go with it. We will see The half bag usually fills up about every 6 - 8 weeks. Its getting close. I will keep you informed.

I have had a standing order with this bank for almost 2 yrs now. About 6 months ago I just asked the teller when I was there picking up my order. They said sure no problem we will hold them for you along with your order. My Wednesday branch is the easiest bank to get along with. Differant branches of the same bank say they can't do it. So I guess to answer your original question, just ask em. If they say no then they say no but you won't ever get the bags if you don't ask for them. I figure if you don'tget the bag off of the machine then maybe you will get it when it comes back through, who knows.
