GREAT FIND.....EXCEPT HOLES DRILLED IN IT

[JERKY2468]

I went with my Mom and Dad to an old leveled Store from back in the early 1900's. There wasn't much of an area to detect, but after awhile of finding some odd stuff, we ended up finding this 1832 half dime!!!!!!! The only sad thing is, someone had drilled holes at top and bottom, but my first coin none the less, and we had a lot of fun looking for it. I might make this into a necklace or something, definitely we are going to keep this because this is a treasure from a great day of detecting.

I think it's an awesome find. Way to go!

Glad you had a good time with your parents. I know they enjoyed your company.
I have been looking into a couple of more places to explore. They may produce some finds. Good luck and good hunting.
