This is a great story of properly documenting items found from an 1812 battle site. I just wonder how many night hawkers already removed some of the artifacts.

war of 1812 was fought on many fronts , my neighbor who was a surveyor had his family home and many others burned in calvert county md , barneys fleet which was scuttled is still in the patuxent . Since most of the british activities where burn and pilage remants may be hard to find .
