Found this in the surf of Lake Michigan (WI) late summer. Seems to be made up of some chalcedony maybe chert or other types of crypto quartzes, parts of it are translucent. The green color was pretty striking in the sun while wet. Should it be called Conglomerate or Breccia? forgot to add something to show the size, the almost triangle shaped light green part in the middle is an inch tall.

Thx

you could call it either, but I'd call it a breccia - breccia is basically a conglomerate with angular pieces/clasts and a "conglomerate" generally has worn or rounded edges to the clasts. this looks generally more angular but that's whatever :D you could call it either if you like and you wouldn't really be wrong
