Saw some on Ebay for between $15-30....not bad for an old token.....I am guessing it is from 1890-1930 range.....not in bad condition for its age......thanks for the info.....

I got one of those... mine is green still.... only thing I found in the yard of a house circa 1900...

Found one last week in a park...I knew it was from the 30s but the info Mackaydon posted is interesting...thanks.

Green valley whisky token

Got out for a while this afternoon and found a Green River whiskey token about the size of a half....got the horseshoe and on the back is the horse and gentleman on it....can anyone tell me an approximate age...or a value....it is in great shape....thanks

the token was made around 1910 to 1930
the refinery was in new york state
because it is apart of black history it may fetch up to $20.00
I found on alone rail road tracks deep below tree roots
its a nice piece for collectors

I found one on the banks of the Rio Grande, one of my best find`s ! I did some research and it said that the saloon`s would give them to the range cowboys to get a free shot of whiskey and then they would stay and spend there money....lol

I found one also this summer. I believe it is circa 1920s. If I recall there are a couple of different versions.
