This is the green rocks I'm needn help IDing.Posted earlier,but FINally found a camara to work.Does anyone kow what they are now?

i'm no rock-gem expert, but i would say emerald or emerald quartz. Where did you find them?

Thanks for responding.That's what I was hoping anyway .......I live in Laurens SC and the creek I got them out of is about 6miles from my house.Wished the 2nd pic came out like the 1st one did though

emerald or green quartz. was my first thought.
Do you have access to a magnifying lens?(needed for "hardness test" when viewing small specimens)
Hardness? Streak?
