Found these today after seeing Huntress and what was found it put me in the mood for a hunt. I got a mystery one I found it in 2 pieces and glued it back together. I found some nice tools and of course allot of broken ones. I focused down by the spring today and walked rows. The grass is coming back fast but still found a few. Thanks, rock
Now if you see the artifacts different please correct me.

The spot is paying off for you rock. The spring area. Is it just a winter wheat coming in before he plows? Nice finds. I am getting the fever bad.

The winter cover is getting thick. He planted radishes and chives and then the weeds are all over and there is still cotton everywhere. Is it a Greenbriar? I am 99% on the Pickwick Knife. The others are tools I think. That one that was broken I havent a clue. Looks like it was going to be a small Celt or it is a piece of a Disc.

nice finds congrats HH

Maybe. Hard to tell with the ears worn off. It is worn down. Could be a pine tree or earlier green briar. Just hard to type for sure. They used it up.:dontknow:

Rock,

Those colors are stunning. They remind me of an avacado. Don't leave any on the counter near the rest of your veggies.:laughing7:

They are perfectly camo'd as well.

Hey Rock.. nice hunt. For what its worth.. it doesn't look like a Greenbrier to me. Looks like a resharpened Halifax.
A closer picture would help. If the base isn't ground it's definitely not a Greenbrier.

Benton.webp this is only one of the base configurations.

All four on the top row are late archaic Halifax points.

What is the one in pic number 6?

That is the one that was broken. I really dont know I glued it back together. Looks like a preform to me.

Try these pictures. Outside photos. It is a nub I guess but has a needle tip on it.

Well the flaking on the point looks to be Archaic if that helps anyone in a guess. I have found a Graver with the same side flaking on it at the base. I wonder if the same person made this one too.
