Hello all. Really no experience with MD, other than one or 2 hunts with the GPAA 15 years ago. Now have an 8 year old who wanted to try it, so I decided to give it a try. Found a BH Tracker IV that I got new for $70 out the door after coupon. Seems like a good starter machine.
Looking forward to getting out and hitting some beaches or parks, or any other old areas. Any advice on the area would be great. Backyard "practice" has produced $10 Mexican peso coin, $00.07 in clad
, some trash, and finally an obsession with MDing by my 8 year old. Sitting here Saturday morning before 8 and he wants to go outside.
Anyway, plan on our first true hunt Monday morning, and probably hit one of the local beeches after the weekend rush. Guessing they will already be hit hard by the other MD people at 3am, but going to have fun anyway.
