I got out on a group hunt near Charleston, SC on Saturday put together by
Addam Coe and Robert Bohrn with Addam's Artifacts and Relic Hunting Adventures! Here are some of my finds. Everyone in the group found something and we all enjoyed the site, the weather and hunting with our buddies and meeting new people. The site was very interesting, an old plantation dating back to the late 17th century all the way up to the 1920s. Great day and a couple of keepers.

Killed it. What freq?

Dropped down to 14kHz most of the time for the extra depth since the terrain had downed timber and brush all over. It was a little chatty, but it worked for this site.

Wow...what a mind-blowing collection of very old relics...what age range would you say that buckle is? Don't see too many like that..congrats on an excellent day..Ddf

I believe the buckle is from the first half of the 1700s.

Now that is some removal from that section of town for sure. The XP can really sniff out great keepers among junk. What is the date on your seated coin?

The half dime is from 1871. I'm still trying to ID the British coin. I believe its a Jeton from around 1680, but not sure yet?

Thanks!

Nice haul of cool old relics! love that key

And your old key is nice,as it has survived the elements.

Bharpring, Congrat's to you on a very good hunt and some nice artifacts. I have always loved the town of Charleston, S.C., and the state of South Carolina as a whole. My Dad was born in Charleston back in 1932 and I lived in Beaufort. S.C. from 1976-1979 while stationed aboard the Parris Island Recruit Depot while in the Corps. I have always felt a connection to S.C. I would one day love to be able to hunt the Charleston area.....maybe one day. Again, Congrat's to you on a productive hunt and some nice Historical Artifact Saves. Well done.

Awesome hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:
