Guatemala

I have just been presented with an opportunity via my employer to leave Kabul Afghanistan, for a position down in Guatemala. I don't know much about the diving and shipwrecks in and around Guatemala, so if anyone has any knowledge they would like to share, it would be appreciated.

How lucky can you get I would imagine the diving opportunities are at least slightly better that Afghanistan! LOL. I'll see what I can find out from some guys that might have inside info. Does it matter or do you prefer Caribbean or Pacific?

Thanks John! I am looking forward to putting the Afghan experience behind me and moving onto greener pastures. Two years in this wartorn country is enough for me, that and not as many people will be trying to kill me.
I will be living in or near Guatemala City, kinda in the middle so I can get to each coast as required. The Pacific side will be a little closer, but I am still a Caribean pirate at heart.
