Hi Everyone,

I have been reading through letters written by KVM to my father. He mentions in several of them about what he found going through rolls of coins.

Man, the stuff he found commonly is like a very rare find today.

Karl von Mueller. One of the more prolific treasure book writers from the 60s and 70s. He wrote the Treasure Hunter's Manual (#6 & 7 are collector's items now.)

Those books are actually quite valuable these days. I see some of his books selling for over $100 on ebay. Not bad for pamphlets that originally sold for under $5.

I still have a bunch of his letters to sort through. If I remember, I will scan some references to coin hunting and post them.

Ok,

I went through and scanned a couple. Then had to sanitize what was being discussed. I left the coin stuff and a few other topics that were typical of the time.
