Guilford Courthouse Finds

I found a little bit of Rev. War history this weekend. A new road has been cut very close to the battle park and a few local diggers have had some success before the blacktop buries what's left. I found four roundballs to add to my Guilford Courthouse collection. I know that the end of this opportunity is very near but it's been fun.--JB

I lived in Greensboro nc for 24 years and didn't have the opportunity to hunt near that park. You did good!

The gun came from the site but it's a toy....I initially thought that I had found something special.

Love the history of the The Battle of Guilford Courthouse it make me proud to be an American. My ancestry fought on that day in March 1781. He was wounded and survived, perhaps one day I'll have the opportunity to do some relic hunting in the area. Congrats on your finds.
