Gunner's Gold! UPDATED WITH PHOTOS!
I have been teaching my son Gunner how to metal detect, and he has shown great promise! He went dirt fishing a county over from where we live while visiting family, and found some really good items!! Better treasure than I find, that's for sure!
He found an 1875 A deutschen reich 1 mark, a 1996 gold class ring from the county we live in, an opal stone looking ring-not sure if it's junk yet or not, a nice pocket watch, and a pin badge with the slogan "Set your eyes on the horizon" with a pretty blue gem in it. I will post pics tomorrow from work-my digital camera is on the fritz! WAY TO GO GUNNER!
We can't wait to try to find the owner of the class ring! His initials are inscribed!
Don't know much about the coin, so any help would be appreciated! It's in nice condition!
****So it also appears the ring I thought was junk, is silver. It is stamped on the inside of the band .925!
